Nice shots. My rusty fisherman husband says the rusty metal gear is called otter boards. They're used in the water to spread the net. They tow them at an angle attached to each side of the net that causes the net to spread.
Maybe the fisher folks are wondering the same thing! Looks like it has been there for a while.
