  7. I have only ever been to Ireland twice, and both times on business and both times only to Dublin. I obviously missed out. I had planned to extend a trip to the UK a few years ago to include Ireland, but I couldn’t get a single member of the ornithological community there to respond to any inquiries I made so I gave up.
