chimney work
They worked on the chimney all day. These terraced houses are vacant, maybe someone bought them.
This post reminded me of work done in Africa! But obviously the job got done. I've managed to follow your blog so I'll pop in regularly to see Ireland!
That wouldn't pass Health & Safety Regs in the UK!
ReplyDeleteAnd also in the Netherlands but its a quick solution.
ReplyDeleteNot a job for people who are afraid of heights.
ReplyDeleteMust have been a lot of work for a day long on the roof. I like those coloured houses in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look too safe.
ReplyDeleteJudging from all the chimneys, they could be working for a while.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see how they do it. Not sure they use this technique in Germany. :)
ReplyDelete...I have 3 JCBs.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a ride in a JCB bucket!
ReplyDeleteHopefully, they'll be done before Xmas and Santa's visit!
ReplyDeleteA long, cold day's work but someone's got to do these repairs and the houses will be so much better for them!
ReplyDeletenow i'm thinking of the mary poppin's song...chim, chiminey, chim chiminey, chim, chim cher-ee :)
ReplyDeleteThey must have had a big job to do. I bet drivers will be glad when that big piece of equipment is out of the road.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't get me to do that!
ReplyDeleteThat would be frowned on here too!
ReplyDeleteHomeowners lament: there is ALWAYS something that needs repair. Much different equipment when our chimney and fireplaces needed repairs.

A very special way to go on the roof.
ReplyDeleteFix them up & then resell them?
ReplyDeleteWe saw someone working like this on a chimney just recently. I'd never seen it done that way before.
