Lough Foyle, Moville co. Donegal
Interesting image.
At least it's pretty green there..
Apart from the symbolism of the door the vegetation is great, the photo is very good.Best regards.
I don't suppose there's too much love for the barracks of the British army. It's a wonder it hasn't been completely obliterated from the scene.
Looks like nature is reclaiming her own.
And the chimneys still stand.
Hi Bill.I love this.Greetings from Patricia.
..they are a bit overgrown.
Over 100 years and still standing? It's time for a change?
Aww...too bad it isn't kept clean and some restoration done...hugsDonna
Something I wasn't expecting to see. Love the red gate. A picture of history.
Not too many visitors, Bill.
Looks like a highly neglected site. It would be fine if the world was a place not needing military bases.
It looks like no one has been there for a very long time.
Nature is having her say.
Raises my curiosity
Haunting image, Bill.
Interesting. Nature has reclaimed the land by the looks of it.
A nice gate years ago.God bless.
A very eloquent gate!
Una imagen muy bonita, la naturaleza volvio a ocupar el lugar. Saludos
Lugares abandonados são sempre assim.♥ Boa semana! :)
Agree with my cousin John. It's doubtful there's any interest in restoration. But the photo is great, Bill.
Too bad it is so over grown. Interesting picture.
Nature does take over.
I love this photo of the old barracks. It's so fun to explore old forts, they always feel so mysterious!
Gone to seed. Sad.
A pesar de lo descuidada cuenta mucho. Te mando un beso.
Oh dear! A lot of stories there to be told by someone.
Hola Bill, una fotografía muy interesante.Feliz semana.Saludos
nature takes over.....great shot
Isn't it amazing how nature takes over!I like the photograph. All the best Jan
Ooooh, curiosity would get the better of me and I'd want to see more of what's through the gate!
No entanto as ruínas sempre proporcionam momentos fotográficos fascinantes!Adorei a imagem! Um grande abraço!Ana
