colourful shrub

 I saw this when walking but have no idea what it is.  Any clues?

    It is a wooden fence. The flowers are wonderful though.

    Found what the plant is from my husband. It's a Pieris Japonica, that's what it's called here. There are different varieties. Hope that helps.
