local library

Finally settled in our new place and now it's back to blogland. :)  This is our new local library, it is on the ground floor.  gteic @Gaoth Dobhair is a network of 30 innovation & digital hubs in locations throughout Ireland’s Gaeltacht areas.  Gaoth Dobhair is the Irish  for Gweedore.  Irish is spoken in this area by just about everyone.  The library is all in Irish so it will be a challenge to learn how to pronounce the words we see.  When we asked questions, the librarian switched to English so we could understand. :)  The people here are very friendly and helpful.

  9. So exciting! I hope you have gotten a little okay with the moving load. There is a beautiful picture of that beach on the header. Probably a lot of bird life there! Nice to have a library nearby. There you can find a lot of wisdom! I'm glad you are back!

  10. Bien moderno y funcional, Su gran cantidad de ventanas hacen entrar bien la luz, que es lo que se necesita para mejor leer.

  16. Hi Bill! Welcome back. The beach in the header looks gorgeous!
I hope the library has English books to read. Somehow I think that Gaelic is not an easy language to learn but it will be fun to learn and you will be able to practice easily in town.

  17. Welcome back to blogging. Your posts have been missed. I am happy that Irish Gaelic has survived, but it is a challenge for non-speakers. Good thing the library is bilingual.
