the white car is parked in a no parking zone that is reserved for buses
and here is the bus that just came in, it has to park further out in the road which causes a traffic jam.
checking the other vehicles in the area. Drivers are supposed to pay and display their parking meter slip that has the time stamped on it in their window. If you don't have one or if it's expired you get a fine.
A costly affair.
ReplyDeleteSeems they were fined, and rightly so..
ReplyDeleteEverybody should know you couldn't park there. The fine is alright!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteParking in the bus space, that is a no-no. No one wants a parking ticket. Enjoy your day, have a great new week!
It says on the shop window "How can we help you?"
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Some people just cannot follow the rules!
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteWell that is paying.
Greetings from Patricia.
The owner of the white car will have light pockets after this encounter, I suspect.
ReplyDelete...parking can be a BIG problem.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they're on a roll Bill 😉
ReplyDeleteHope it’s not too costly!
ReplyDeleteI have to say these traffic wardens look adorable in their age. If they were here, nobody will mess up and respect them. The traffic enforcers here in the Philippines are the younger kind that's why when road problems arises, they tend to shout and the drivers will shout back and a fight might just start anytime! But we respect the elderly so much so surely they will be great here. It would be so hard for the elderly to work as traffic enforcers here though because of the constant 30-40 degree celsius kind of afternoons. happy new week my friend Bill! Weekend was fast!
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit amazing that it takes 3 of them to pass out tickets. But they aren't wearing face masks...so I'd given them a ticket too!
ReplyDeleteOhh big fine!Nice photoes!
ReplyDeleteWish you a happy sunday!
With that much security on the job, you had better follow all the parking regulations.
ReplyDeleteThat was very irresponsible!
ReplyDelete: )
We have to pay to park in our downtown too but, they have meters at each spot. I haven't seen the wardens checking the meters in a very long time.
ReplyDeleteI drove buses for many years and I can vouch that there are a lot of jerks that never have a drier's licence.
ReplyDeleteNext time they will think twice where to park their car I think.
ReplyDeleteSounds like they are the same as our parking enforcement officers here.
ReplyDeleteExcelente estes momentos fotográficos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom Domingo.

I suppose they do a good job, but I'm sure they don't make many friends through their efforts.
ReplyDeleteBus stop zones are strictly enforced in Chicago. No one parks in them. Perhaps the owner of the white car will learn not to do this in the future.
ReplyDeleteThere will always be those who don't obey the traffic rules!
ReplyDeleteI hope the white car got a big fine!
ReplyDeleteHow much was the fine? Teach him/her a lesson.
ReplyDeleteDe la multa no se libran.
ReplyDeleteEso tiene no seguir las normas.
BUENAS NOCHES
Parking can be a problem.
ReplyDeleteRules should be followed though.
All the best Jan
I like it.
ReplyDeleteNice photos, the traffic wardens must have had a very tiring day!
ReplyDeleteDumb people everywhere, huh.
ReplyDeleteInteresting---wonder where the car owner is
ReplyDeleteMB
And if you drove the white car you should come out to find your car towed to an impound lot. )).
ReplyDeleteSome people just don't think the rules apply to them.
ReplyDeleteA bit different from our bylaw people.
ReplyDeleteYou can be a little afraid of them
