Very sad. My Brother just told me the other day he likely has to close down his business, also. So sad. Family business of so many years and now... not good enough for making a living no more. On a lighter note: 28C, sunny :-) 🌞
Good to see the place getting spruced up, or down if you will. One danger removed. We hava a restaurant whose sign was damaged a year ago in a wind storm, but there it still sits.
Hello Bill, Just a note to say my husband is very ill and I will be taking a break but hope to visit with you in the future. All the best. Take care. Mildred

The sign looked like a good puff of wind would have toppled it. Good that they safely removed it.
ReplyDeleteEm plena laboração.

ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your people at work photos Bill. Especially during this pandemic. A sign that life is going on...
ReplyDeleteSigns do need a wee bit of a spruce up now and then 😉 well captured Bill.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was ready to fall down, Bill!
ReplyDeleteYou capture everything
ReplyDeleteWe have to have signs changed out quite often here. The sun destroys them pretty quickly.
ReplyDeletevery brave workers! Salute to them, I can never climb a high stairs, let alone be on a very narrow bucket
ReplyDeleteSome things need to get worse before they can get better.
ReplyDeleteDeconstruction is sometimes for difficult and dangerous than construction, but I see they have all the right tools for the job. Good action series.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the sign getting replaced.
ReplyDeleteReplacement is good. Closure is not.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely looked ready for retirement and it looks like a big job.
ReplyDeleteSometimes things need to be replaced.
