passed this little terror on my walk, he came out of nowhere barking like crazy. I didn't see him at first but his bark got my attention and it caught me by surprise, I wasn't ready for him. I think my heart skipped a beat. :)

Little dogs always think they are bigger than they actually are, he is cute though.ReplyDelete
He wanted to guard his territoryReplyDelete
No fun being scared by barking dogs
There used to be a small ferocious dog near me that came out barking evry time I walked past. Then one day the gate was left open; the dog came rushing out, saw the open gate and slunk back in the house again!ReplyDelete
Sometimes you are very shocked when a dog suddenly comes running barking.
Greetings from Patricia.
Look of authentic monitoring. A view of non-negotiable superiority. With your art, however, this unruly guardian becomes an eternal moment of beauty.ReplyDelete
Oh. But he looks so friendly in that pic!ReplyDelete
Yep, I´d jump for sure, too. Guess you´re wide awake now, enjoy your day, Bill :-)
Doesn't look like a watchdog. Looks like a pal.Great.ReplyDelete
You better start carrying dog treats with you. He soon will become your friend.ReplyDelete
You always have to be alert when somebody is passing!ReplyDelete
Looks like his tail is in full wag!ReplyDelete
Hello, I am his bark is bigger than his bite. Maybe, watch your fingers? Cute pup! Thank you for linking up your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend! PS, thank you for the visit and comment too.ReplyDelete
...let me out!!!ReplyDelete
What a wonderful creature.ReplyDelete
God bless, Bill. Happy weekend.
He takes his territory very seriously.ReplyDelete
He's cute, but he doesn't look friendly. My heart would've skipped a beat, too, if I suddenly heard an unseen dog barking.ReplyDelete
It looks like he's giving you a piece of his mind!ReplyDelete
I’ve had that happen a few times with dogs. At least you know your heart is good.ReplyDelete
Not a friendly dog! But so cute! Wonderful capture!
Have a nice day and a happy weekend! Take care!
I'm always scared, the little ones yell the loudest. Great scene!ReplyDelete
It is said that small dogs have a big ego.ReplyDelete
It is a cute dog anyway.
Have a wonderful weekend.
He looks noisy! Not sure if it's possible to actually look noisy.... but he definitely does!ReplyDelete
Remarkable how a barking dog can be such a shock, even though one should be used to it. I wonder if the reaction is one of those instincts that people still have (but have fewer of them than critters other than ourselves have).ReplyDelete
be well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
"I'm a very fierce animal, beware!!!" he was saying with all his barks. Too bad you had exactly the reaction he wanted! But you fooled him, taking his photo and sending it out silently in your blog.ReplyDelete
I have the same surprise when out of nowhere a dog is right beside you and barking. Anyway, it made for a good photo.ReplyDelete
Such a determined face! I hate when a dog comes out of nowhere and frightens me.ReplyDelete
Oh dear he is a sweet but fierce little guard dog.. good thing he was behind the gate 😉ReplyDelete
That little dog just needs some attention and a friend. He has the job of defending his territory.ReplyDelete
Little dogs can be such big barkers!ReplyDelete
He looks like he may be an elderly guard dog! They can be fierce.ReplyDelete
I do believe that he is trying his best to look like he means business...or she ☕ReplyDelete
I've had dogs do that to me too. He's a cutie though.ReplyDelete
He sure doesn't look very happy. Glad there was a fence between the two of you!!ReplyDelete
He is just protecting his home!I think he surely is a good dog to the ownersReplyDelete
Such a cute dog! Looks like his tail is wagging and he's puckered up for a kiss.ReplyDelete
I would have picked up my pace for sure! Cute photo! Glad you saw him on your walk!ReplyDelete
You got a great photograph of him though …ReplyDelete
All the best Jan
Does look vicious. Cool capture.ReplyDelete
Element of surprise. That dog looks like one diagonally across from us, it barks a fair bit, sometimes at it's own shadow.ReplyDelete
He seem bit dangerous to get close !!ReplyDelete
Looks like he might like to nip a bit. It would startyle me tooReplyDelete
I am not a fan of barking dogs. I know, people who don’t love everything about every dog are highly suspect, but I have to admit to it.ReplyDelete
