The reason the wind sock is orange is because that is the colour of the cloth it is made of.God bless.

Busy wind socks are the sure sign you're living near the water.
Bill - I never really appreciated a windsock until we moved to our current home. Now I can look at the windsock as we pass our neighbor's house, and determine if it is a good time for kayaking!
