people use these for the big items that don't fit in to the small sized machines that are in most houses. I didn't even know they existed until I passed it one day.
this is the back of a convenient store where the machine is located.

Interessante e aproveito para desejar a continuação de uma boa semana.

Can I wash my sofa in there?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
For big families then ( or the occasional hotel or B&B)
ReplyDeleteNever seen something of similar before. Have a good day.
ReplyDelete18kg!!! I´m impressed.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have a Launderette in the sixties as my parents had no washing machine at home in those days.
ReplyDeleteHello, I love my washer and dryer. I would like to have to carry everything out to get it washed and dried. Wishing you a happy day!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of such a thing.
ReplyDeleteIt maybe for the industrial purpose, I believe.
ReplyDeleteVery handy for duvets, for instance.
ReplyDeleteWe call them doonas. :)
DeleteThat’s quite a big load!
ReplyDelete...this is something that I would NEVER see here! It's nice to be able to do our laundry at home. Thanks Bill for sharing. I hope that you are enjoying your day.
ReplyDeleteThat handles a huge amount of laundry. Must be for a large family.
ReplyDelete18 kg is big for a washing machine.
ReplyDeleteYep we have some of these washing machines nearby as well, placed next to a gas station. We never made use of one though.
ReplyDeleteAha...I can wash that big old comforter in there!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. We have Laundomats here but not like behind another store. Maybe that kind is used to wash horse blankets and the like
ReplyDeleteMB
Blankets would be a necessity for a laundromat.
ReplyDeleteThat is a huge washer!
ReplyDeleteWow! Now that could make changing bed clothes much easier to wash and dry than in my own washer and dryer :)
ReplyDelete18KG seems a lot … but it could be useful for bedding etc!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
18 kg is a lot of laundry
ReplyDeleteI'm always surprised at the small size of the washers in Europe so it is no surprise to see such a service being offered. Our machine is huge! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know they existed either. Since I dry all my clothes outside on the line, don't need a huge dryer. :)
ReplyDeleteI need one of these to wash my bulky winter blanket.
ReplyDeleteBill - I suppose you have to wait in the car park until it is finished? I wonder how much they are charging for a load that size! Interesting.
ReplyDeleteInteresting and cool signs including the cloth stickers
ReplyDeleteA handy convenience if you haven't got a big enough washing machine Bill ✨
