Killybegs is Ireland’s largest fishing port located in the waters of Donegal Bay.
I love it! Trees are so important for life on our earth.
Muito importante as árvores nas nossas cidades, aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.AndarilharDedais de Francisco e Idalisa O prazer dos livros
Good move. There's nothing like a tree to suck the carbon out of the air.
Very good but it looks very close to the house facades. Hope they have space enough.
Better trees in the street than cars.
Poor things! No room for them to grow properly there, better they were in a park somewhere.
I echo John's comments above. There whole root system is going to be beneath asphalt which is not going to permit water to get to it. I don't know whether you use road salt in Ireland but if you do the tree is going to be assaulted with that. If the tree lasts more than a couple of years I will be surprised. What a sham. Is this some token gesture designed to assuage the guilty conscience of some inept urban planner?
I'm with John on this one.
Hello, I like trees, the more the merrier! Wishing you a great day, have a happy week ahead!
A great addition!
Yes!!! Plant those trees everywhere so they can help clean the air that man seems to like to muck-up so much 🌲🌳🌴
Are they planting the trees or the bus stop signs? You must have some very tall people where you live to have signs so big.God bless.
It's nice to see them planting trees. They will look beautiful as they grow.
Hi Bill.Looks cozy.Groettie from Patricia.
I just came from a blog where they were cutting down trees so this is a good sign to see some being planted.
...the area looks tight, I hope that the trees grow tall and narrow.
Very nice with a little green in the cities
Ha Bill, dat moet wel een hele gezellige straat gaan worden, groen doet het altijd goed, maar ja het vraagt wel onderhoud.Groet kees.
Tree's always make things nicer in my opinion.
That is going to look fabulous when they grow!
Trees are a good thing …All the best Jan
That will be a wonderful addition. I know the birds, too, will enjoy the trees. Have a nice evening.
Are they planting one type or a variety? We will need to see the finished product in the springtime if the spirit moves you that way.
Good question, I didn't see any tags on the trees so I don't know what kinds of trees they are. When we go back to the town, I'll have to ask around.
Isn't that wonderful? I love to see a street that is hedged by trees. Hugs- Diana
Wonder what trees are these. Hope they bring the birds singing too!
I love trees and street trees are great as long as they don't choose a variety with roots that take over and buckle sidewalks. I do hope you'll revisit when they show some leaves.
A tree-lined street is always a picture of lovelinessMB
I hope they survive.
Nice initiative and neat planting!
I hope that the trees grow well.have a great day
Love street tree planting Bill, the trees here look quite mature already, even better ✨
Hopefully they do well.
I love trees and love when towns have trees along the sidewalk.
