I saw this person working on the door when we were headed to the library in Donegal Town. It made me think of a forensic investigator at a crime scene. I have been reading some Henning Mankell books lately so that is probably why I came up with the thought. :)
What is she doing? Is that a screwdriver or a paint brush in her hand? She missed a bit !!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I wonder if she needs your help Bill . . .??
ReplyDeleteLooks like a screwdriver to lock the knob in place with a little screw or just remove the knob for paintwork. The outfit is more for painting I guess. ( Always the same mistake. Screws in doorknobs and handles on the outside must always be on the underside so that rainwater has no access but we are a little lazy in that aspect.)
ReplyDeletePequenas reparações.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

I am retired... so I like it when I see people working. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLooking for fingerprints? Or removing them? She is wearing a mask aswell. A real crimescene for sure!
ReplyDeleteHello, looks like she could use some help. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he is wearing his wife’s pajamas!
ReplyDeleteA love your life captures, Bill. This one raises curious questions!
ReplyDeleteIt is a terrific "a day in the life of . . . portrait and an all too familiar slice of life when you are a home owner. I lOVE Mankell books and watch the DVD's after I read the novels.
ReplyDeleteI hope the doorknob worked again after a little bit of TLC and a shot of oil!
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteIs working hard, but then it will look nice again.

Or, Bill, was this person in disguise and getting ready to rob this place and was pretending to change the doorknob :)
ReplyDeleteLove that the doorknob is in the middle of the door. You don't see that very often here~
good caught image in passing
ReplyDeleteYes, the knob in the centre of the door seems odd to me.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I can see why you thought that! It does look like they are taking fingerprints.
ReplyDeleteI like the center doorknob.
ReplyDeleteWonder why she's wearing the dust mask? I cannot rule out foul play!
ReplyDeleteWallander is just around the corner, Bill!
ReplyDeleteHello Bill, going to see the news.

Love your imagination and the image captured! Now that you said it, does look like an investigation at a crime scene! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL- You are an armchair detective, I see! We seldom see that placement of door knobs here in the states. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI've been reading a lot of Michael Connelly lately. Lots of fingerprint dusting and the like. Only the knobs aren't in the middle of a door as this one is.
ReplyDeleteWow lovely capture of busy people .
