vintage tea days are here and they're getting ready for the cruise ships coming in this month. We had the MS Oriana today, the MS Queen Elizabeth comes in on Friday.
MS Oriana will visit Killybegs on Tuesday 17th July 2018 with 1800 passengers and 760 crew. This cruise ship will arrive at 09.00 and depart at 17.00. MS Oriana is one of the smallest cruise ships in the P&O Cruises fleet. Oriana elegantly combines classic design features such as teak decks and a tiered stern with delightful Art Deco touches. Exclusively for adults, she exudes refinement and luxury. Oriana’s signature features are a stunning atrium with a Tiffany glass ceiling and her panoramic Crow’s Nest bar.

...Tea Day, I know that I'm not at home! 😀
ReplyDeleteIt is so huge, almost a complete village sailing around the world. It is not my cup of tea to explore the world this way. But for your city it is a nice business.
ReplyDeleteGosto de ver estas autenticas cidades flutuantes.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de boa semana.

what an amazing ship!
ReplyDeleteWell that will bring people out to see the cruise ship . . .
ReplyDeleteWe have cruise line that come through the Muskegon Michigan channel
and it brings people to take a look . . .
Small ships are better than big ships. The Vintage Tea reminds me of Steve Martin in "The Jerk", Don't bring us this old wine, we want the new wine! Let's splurge!
ReplyDeleteLove the ship and The Vintage Tea Day sounds wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBut since I don't travel I do have an alternative thanks to blogger friends such as you Bill for posting all of these gorgeous places and things on your blog!
Thank you!!!
I would love a cup of that too.
ReplyDeleteShe's a fabulous ship Bill.. gosh I bet things get a wee bit hectic with over 2,000 visitors all at once 😱
ReplyDeleteSound like a fine idea
ReplyDeleteThat is one big ship!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of people to flow into town all at once!
ReplyDeleteLooks still massive compared to the fishing boats
ReplyDeleteThat will be a busy day in town!
ReplyDeleteI love tea parties.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
wow 1800 passengers, that is one big ship!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful shot of the magnificent cruiser!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of people to invite to tea! Even 1800 passengers seem like a big ship to me -- at least bigger than I'd find appealing, Tiffany glass or not.
ReplyDeleteIt might be small but to me it looks big. Does Vintage tea just mean it is old tea?? LOL
