Moville's small one room post office. It's small but does an excellent job delivering mail to where it needs to go. You can also pay your utility bills, dog license, TV license, court fines and property taxes there at your local An Post office.
I am back again after a self-imposed hiatus from blogging, a failed attempt! Missed all of you too much to continue!! Love seeing your images again of your special place in Ireland!
I do love the heroic postmen depicted on the sides of the delivery vans too!
ReplyDeleteSão muito importantes estes pequenos postos de correios.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

...and lose your money on the lottery.
ReplyDeleteAh' yes what would we rural dwellers do without our tea drinking chatty & newsy postmen!
ReplyDeleteI love your post office Bill, it looks so friendly.. small but efficient is exactly how a post office should be 😊

ReplyDeleteEverything in one place! Perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh! I guess we got the lottery from Ireland. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like the multi-faceted nature of this post office. Must be a real time-saver for lots of people and a real help to old folks like me! :)
ReplyDeleteA lot of our local post offices have ended up in the back of drug stores.
ReplyDeleteWhat a quaint little post office! Ours has downsized twice in recent years. and is now in a chain of stationery/book stores.
ReplyDeleteAll those services are sure to draw people in. I don't suppose a model like that could be sold to the U.S. Postal Service.
ReplyDeleteA fine green in Ireland! How perfect!
ReplyDeleteAs portas, na Irlanda, são tão bonitas, com cores vibrantes. Eu gosto.
