The bus is headed in the wrong direction and we want to go the other way. Actually, once he passes the church which you can see on the left with the cross, he'll turn around by backing the bus up on a side street and then head our way. No roundabout in this small town :)
I'm always amazed as the effortless ease with which bus drivers control their vehicles in narrow crowded streets.
ReplyDeleteThe constraints of country life - our wee rural bus does the same turnaround!
ReplyDeleteUma excelente foto urbana.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

Wrong direction and on the wrong side of the road! Oh my, I'd never get used to that!
ReplyDeleteThe buses bad pass them to turn around in the villages.
ReplyDeleteTomás.
Buss driver have to be a good one, but sometimes I do not understand why they have so difficult roads to drive to. You may imagine the driver on the Bergen`s narrow streets....
ReplyDeleteGosh I'm glad I don't drive a bus Bill, that would be a tricky manoeuvre 😊 Good thing you know it's route, would have been worrying if you didn't know it was coming back for you 😊

ReplyDeleteI'd be wary of driving around that!
ReplyDeleteI have friends touring in Ireland...can't wait to ask if they were on that bus :).
ReplyDeleteThose bus drivers sure know how to drive!
ReplyDeleteEven going in the right direction a big bus can cause congestion on a narrow road. (This road is actually much wider than some I've seen in Ireland!)
ReplyDeleteThere should be an old song about a morning bus, but I can't remember it.
ReplyDeleteBela imagem, em pleno movimento.
