The town workers have been working on this street for the last few weeks digging up the road and laying some PVC pipe. I guess there is some kind of problem but I have no idea what it is. At least they are enjoying the friendly conversation.
we're almost there guys
time to sweep up and call it a day
I just hope they're not like the Telecom workers who came and dug a trench outside my parents home. "There'll be a gang along tomorrow to replace some cable", they explained. Three days later the hole-diggers came back to fill in the hole. Dad went out to tell them that the other gang had not come. They filled in the hole anyway!
ReplyDeleteThey seem to be making a neat job of it! Great series!
ReplyDeleteThwaites is a new one for me. I have 3 JCB loaders.
ReplyDeleteGood documentary. They probably have to be quite strong to have a job like this.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice in the garden (last image) I like to see how people do their front gardens.
Enjoy the weekend!
I can just smell the asphalt!
ReplyDeleteCool photo essay!
ReplyDeleteNot a fine job...
ReplyDeleteEverybody need the break, it is a hard work.... Joke or not....
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be the same story everywhere - we have so much road work going on here!
ReplyDeleteGood to see these workers maintaining the utilities, even if they must dig up the road. Interesting to see the machines they are using.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a water main break? At least it was small pipe and relatively easy to deal with. I bet, though, the construction slowed drivers down in the area.
ReplyDeleteNot all street crews here are so hard working. Lots of them are ripping up a pain downtown street in front of my office for new fiber optic cable. Traffic has been a mess for months.
ReplyDeleteMessed up traffic seems to be the summer norm here in Minnesota!
ReplyDeleteQue bom que tudo foi resolvido. Gostei de ver toda a ocorrência, por fotos.
