a list for donations that are being accepted and of course a list for non accepted items. People still have to be told because some don't follow the rules. The donations once cleaned and sold in the charity shop, the funds benefit the Cancer Fund for Children.

A noteworthy cause, indeed!

Honesty boxes are quite common here.
ReplyDeleteThe donation list is a great idea. Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteDonations are a great idea.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Sad people need such an explanation!
ReplyDeleteNice signs Bill.
ReplyDeleteOh, people are just wanting to get rid of things so quickly these days. And it is great to have organic so close. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThey have to list rubbish as a No. Sad!
ReplyDeleteThe checklist is extensive
ReplyDeleteGood idea.
ReplyDeleteLove raw milk!
ReplyDeleteI love the diversity of the charity shops I discovered while traveling in England. We don't have that many, apart from the big three -- Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul and Goodwill.
ReplyDeleteGood signs. I always buy organic eggs and don't drink milk! I try to buy organic when possible :-D
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of signs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to help children with cancer!
ReplyDeleteTalk About A Metaphor Post Here Today Mr Bill - Well Done
ReplyDeleteStay Brilliant ,
Cheers
That reminds me, I have a bag of clothes to take to one of those boxes.
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful, uplifting signs, Bill. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteSome people will still use these donation boxes to get rid of junk, Bill. I have a bag of clothes ready to go to one.
ReplyDeleteI hope they get some good donations.
ReplyDeleteI like these signs.
ReplyDeleteWith regard to the charity;
yes, we have similar ... unfortunately some folk leave junk ... but on the whole they work well and the charities are very grateful.
All the best Jan
People sometimes leave totally unsuitable items at those donation boxes.
ReplyDelete...raw milk isn't common here!
ReplyDeleteMany times donation boxes are abused as people throw garbage in them.
ReplyDeleteLa ropa que no utilizo y que se me ha quedado nueva, la intriduzco en el contenedor apropiado para ellos. Los hijos crecen y la ropa se les va quedando pequeña y puede tener un buen uso para las personas necesitadas.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
I've been surprised by the upswing in demand for unpasteurized milk. It was pasteurized for a reason. But I guess it's like vaccines. People don't remember the evils they prevented either.
ReplyDeleteSome people just don't have much common sense!
ReplyDeleteMe gusto el primer letrero. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteWonderful initiative!
ReplyDeleteI would not be drinking raw milk these days with bird flu moving to cattle, and ungallant fever is always a possibility. That is why milk has been pasteurized for the last 80 or 90 years.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent initiative.
ReplyDeleteRaw milk and fresh organic eggs used to be poor people's food... now they are hard to find...
Have a wonderful day, dear Bill. A hug. 🌤️☘️🌷🌼☘️
