I don't know what kind of berries they are either. Funny story (at least to me and my family. When I was probably around 3 because I hadn't started school yet, my family was visiting my mom's sister and husband. At the edge of their driveway were some berries. My uncle took me to pick some of them. When we got back inside I told everyone that "Uncle Robert just took me to "catch some strawberries".
Great contrasts in this photo. Brown wood, red cherries, grey stones and green moss. Well done, Bill.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Sharp, colorful and clear only don't eat them. Nice shot Bill.
ReplyDeleteBet they are poisonous.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe few berries do pop with their pretty red color.
Take care, have a great day and a happy new week.
Pretty, but like Angie said..they could be poisonous. Good to see what you can forge out there. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteEven if they are poisonous to humans it’s often not the case for birds. Perhaps there were more and the bush has been largely stripped.
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast in this shot. The berries look like cherries. A great find for a crow.
ReplyDeleteLovely red:-)
ReplyDelete...thanks for the small pop of red on this white morning.
ReplyDeleteSome sort of wild sour cherry? Or maybe a form of nightshade? They look bright against the green moss, but I don't think I'd like to try a taste.
ReplyDeleteThey look tempting like the sweet cherries in my parent´s garden back in the day!Look like...
ReplyDeleteBella foto e buona serata.
ReplyDeleteA photo that is beautifully done, contrast of colors and textures, and even the question of what are they intrigues me.
ReplyDeleteNice pops of red against the green, Bill.
ReplyDeleteThese berries might be food for birds, or they may not be edible. The bright red color works well for your photo.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what those are but that is a lovely shot! Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteThey look like cherries but I'm sure they aren't. Cherries usually grow in clusters. It does make me curious.
ReplyDeleteNice splash of red. The birds will enjoy them. Great shot Bill :-D
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't know either.
ReplyDeleteI think it is not berries you can eat.Beautifulnew header Bill💖
ReplyDeleteThey look like cherries, bit I doubt they are. Interesting to find a few red berries on a limb like that.
ReplyDeleteThey really stand out don't they!!!
ReplyDeleteLove you header with all the different colored shops.
