Bill, can you tell me about the 5th dimension, please? In Rudy Rucker´s book the 4th dimension is not time, but a mathematical solution, plural balls. And I don´t get it! See, let´s go into 2nd dimension where A-Square lives. I can imagine that: When A-square get´s a visit from a ball he sees a point then a line that gets longer, shorter and a dot again. But I fail to imagine a 4-D object entering my 3-dimensional way of seeing things. And what is the 5th?
I can relate to that for the past 2 months here
