Kerr's Pink is a popular commercially grown variety of potato in Ireland, which have a pink skin and a creamy white flesh with a flourier texture.

  5. Difficult to see it without thinking of the terrible times when Ireland's potato crop failed. I'm glad we now live in happier times, at least in this part of the world.

  15. We can have our groceries delivered here as well. I don't think they would deliver just a bag of potatoes, but this is a big city. There it sounds perfectly feasible. Great service.

  19. I LOVE potatoes and eat them way more often than I should, sometimes 3-4 days a week. I've never heard of pink potatoes but if I can find them you can bet I'll be buying some!

    Those spuds are an Irish one I believe.
    We eat a lot of potatoes here as my husband doesn't like rice or pasta.
