What a great shot of the Moth! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
About two weeks ago, we had an invasion of moths where I live. Lots of them flying around. It was much better than the invasion of grasshoppers that hit us about 4 weeks ago. Those I can do without.
The moth looks so paper thin!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Bill!!

Moths never get the appreciation that butterflies do - mystifying to me as most people can't tell the difference!
ReplyDeleteNice closeup Bill.
ReplyDeleteAmazing critter. If by itself. Not a fan when they show up in swarms (and I wear summer clothes)...
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful picture
ReplyDeleteHe almost matches the insignia.
ReplyDeleteI don't like moth...and my cats go nuts whenever there's a moth around..

ReplyDeleteWow... Mr. Moth is huge - just look at those wings! I like his landing spot of choice. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteAnd I bet he had a few stories that he could tell you, Bill.
ReplyDeleteHe felt safe near you and you were rewarded with beauty and this photo to share, which I enjoyed very much. Have a lovely weekend. Aloha

Lovely critter. One of these days I need to learn to identify the various moths. There seem to be so many.
ReplyDeleteThis lovely moth was hoping your eyeglasses case was edible. Too bad it wasn't.
