That photo and your words are pretty magical. Bill. I can see that silhouette of the tree in my mind's eye and seem to hear the bird singing... Thank you for sharing the experience. Aloha!
I walked in forrest nearby recently. I heard dozens and dozents birds singing. Didn´t see any. And there´s no leafs on trees yet. Come summer they´re even more invisible. But it´s always a pleasure to hear that concerto. Especially after winter.
That's right, nice photo has ever happened to me the same, when passing you hear singing and loud but when you look none is seen. Happy week. Best regards.
Looks like a very well developed tree. Nice.
ReplyDeleteVery nice
ReplyDeleteA fine looking tree.
ReplyDeleteBirds love trees that protect them and the trees love the birds home made fertilizer.
ReplyDeleteI sing because I'm happy. I sing because I'm free. 😊
ReplyDeleteRemember that old song?
...let the singing continue.
ReplyDeleteyes, we hear a lot of bird singing when walking under trees almost everyday....
ReplyDeleteMaybe they were singing, "I'm in love with Yew!"
ReplyDeleteLove the tree and to hear the birds singing. Have a happy day and a great new week!
ReplyDeleteA paradise for the birds :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to hear birds, but not to see them.
Greetings from Patricia,
Trees with invisible birds are a wonder!
ReplyDeleteBut a singing tree in Ireland is even more special. Love the photo. So majestic!
ReplyDeleteThey were hiding from you! lolol
ReplyDeletehugs

I've heard that singing before. Some trees can house a lot of birds and you still can't see them.
ReplyDeleteTruly singing
ReplyDeleteI get frustrated up north when I hear birdsong and can't see a bird to save my soul!

ReplyDeleteLovely photo of this great looking tree. I think I can spot at least four birds in it, but I can't quite hear them. Birds belong up in the trees.
ReplyDeleteIf we can hear the singing, we know the birds are there. Lovely photo, Bill!
ReplyDeleteI love it when you hear a whole crowd of sparrows either up in a tree or in a bush and you can't see them as they chatter away at each other.
ReplyDeleteWonderful big old tree and loved that you stopped to listen to the birds singing in it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteIt's outlined well against that sky.
ReplyDeleteSmiles... Zoomed in at 500, I see two pairs at the top. It is a magnificent tree structure. Great pic, Bill.
ReplyDeleteThe birds are always lovely to hear ...
ReplyDeleteThat is a good looking tree.
All the best Jan
A mesmerising tree against that beautiful sky
ReplyDeleteWow, that tree is huge! Must look gorgeous when it's all leafy also.
ReplyDelete"Singing in the tree". ;-)
ReplyDeleteNot only does the tree sing but it has a great silhouette.
ReplyDeleteI heard singing in a tree this morning. 🐦
ReplyDeleteIreland was much the topic this morning among some friends of mine. One is about to leave for the University of Dublin for some advanced study.
ReplyDeleteA lovely way to spend some time!
ReplyDeleteBello árbol ,te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteCertainly looks a good tree for birds.
