Hello Bill :=) I like your new header. Good shot of the vintage tractor. There is something about old tractors that I love.We have a red one on the farm. It's not in use, but I still find it appealing. All the best.
That tractor is likely a Ferguson-Ford with a home built cab. These old tractors are highly collectable so I'm surprised it is still sitting there. Makes for a nostalgic photo.
My dad liked John Deere equipment, and the newer models had the cab. It was safer and efficient. I love to go to vintage car rallies. The trucks from the 1940s interest me.
Ya va siendo hora de renovarlo. Me gusta mucho la foto de cabecera.
ReplyDeleteSeems doubtful the farmer will ever be able to fit a window unit on it! lolol
ReplyDeleteLove the blue!

Maybe they still use it.
Greetings from Patricia.
People do love these old tractors. Take care , have a great day!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's ready for the place where old tractors go to die.
ReplyDeleteMost I've seen growing up are practically rusted cans parked where they quit. And sometimes, my dad would say, "Don't you know, that's just junk art."
ReplyDelete...it's has a tough life.
ReplyDeleteLooking old and sad...
ReplyDelete"He" looks interested - very cute.

ReplyDeleteI used to work on a farm and we had a tractor with a cab like that. I used to think I got wetter with the cab than I would have been without it!
ReplyDeleteI really like those everyday scene photos that do not go unnoticed by the photographer's good eye.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Best regards
