saturday critters

we passed these donkeys on our walk,  one was curious and the other one didn't care. :)

  1. Awww. Love donkeys. Those flappy ears. If only I could remember the title of the book. A family found a donkey (true story of course) in their driveway and it wouldn´t go away, so they adopted him. Even the family dog became friends with him. Such a nice story.
    Oh, I found it, you can even see him here, if you like, Flash is his name :-) Was a great book.

  6. Adoring! More donkeys than ever it seems these days. Especially, on ranches back in Texas. Something about protecting the sheep from the coyotes, or maybe it's a tax break.

  18. We used to have two donkeys on the pasture above where we keep our lake boat. The land owner retired and also retired his donkeys to a farm on the other side of town. - Margy
