The ruins of the Ballinrobe military barracks
Awww. Love donkeys. Those flappy ears. If only I could remember the title of the book. A family found a donkey (true story of course) in their driveway and it wouldn´t go away, so they adopted him. Even the family dog became friends with him. Such a nice story.Oh, I found it, you can even see him here, if you like, Flash is his name :-) Was a great book.
There is always one that likes to stare.
....and no matter how many silly noises you make you can never get them to both look up at the same time.
And at least enough to eat. Then you can afford to be curious.
I don't stop eating for looking at you...
Adoring! More donkeys than ever it seems these days. Especially, on ranches back in Texas. Something about protecting the sheep from the coyotes, or maybe it's a tax break.
They look so adroable!

We used to have two donkeys on the pasture above where we keep our lake boat. The land owner retired and also retired his donkeys to a farm on the other side of town. - Margy
