  3. If it's the same with you as it is in the UK, there's probably a riding school or something similar nearby. I live near Newmarket, the centre of the British horse race industry - they ought to have a sign there warning of occasional cars on the road in amongst the herds of racehorses!

  9. Oh, I think one of the wildest moments I recall was a rider galloping through Saturday night traffic in Del Rio. There were no signs around about that.

  21. Hi Bill, This post reminded me of one Sign I saw one day and got confused for a moment it was a sign of "Witch Flying" then realized there was a school near by some kids must have done a prank. That day also I laughed and still when I think about it it brings smile on my face. . . You have a Nice day. . . :)

  26. That does look like horse fence up ahead. Ireland is famous for its horses.

  27. Interesting that a sign was placed for possibly only a single horse in the area...or are there more than one, Bill?

  34. Good morning Bill from the Netherlands. Is good this sign like that because some do drive fast on back roads.

  35. It's good to get pre warning Bill, don't want any horse surprises!

  36. I've only seen a few signs warning of horses, even in horse country. Most people do not ride horses in the road.

  37. Aqui por estes lados, acontece o contrário... temos cavalos... mas sem sinalização... qualquer dia publico a foto, do meu mais recente vizinho das traseiras...
    Um grande abraço!
