the workers built a new fence and had it placed further back from the road so they could put in a gravelled area. There are usually some signs placed on the fence and now it will be safer to do that.
Hello Bill, I reiterate what SC commented: one working and three watching. It's the same here in our country. I love that you caught the activity and how organized it all is. Above all I LOVE your header photo. Gardeners BUY that grass and use it as ornamental fillers here. Thank you for your visits to my blog. Jo
Hello again Bill, my granddaughter used my gmail account to access her gmail and my comment above appeared as Unknown. Apologies. I have corrected it to read my name.
Getting close to my record of seven men standing looking into a hole in the road! My village is full of roadworks at present as they are installing what promises to be "superfast" broadband.
Gosto destes momentos fotográficos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

Safety is a priority. Better to do it now rather than after the fact.
ReplyDeleteEverywhere the same. One does the work and three are supervising but a nice street shot.
ReplyDeleteBetter safe than sorry.
ReplyDeleteLooks well organised.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.

ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteSafety should always be considered. We have a lot of road work going on here.
Have a happy day and a great week!
With road workers it seems to be universal that they stand around talking, hands in pockets. No one ever seems to actually do anything!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is interesting how roadwork comes about. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteSafety first! Look at the sky...was it going to rain?
ReplyDeleteLots of colour under the grey sky in this shot Bill 💜
ReplyDeleteSafety first! Good catch of the workers, Bill!
ReplyDeleteThey do work to improve road safety. One working, three watching. The same everywhere. Many colors in a good photo.
ReplyDeleteMaking it safe is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteIt should be safer for sure.
ReplyDeleteSecurity measures are very good, I wish it was like this everywhere...

ReplyDeleteI agree with those who said one works and three supervise lol, that's sure how it always seems!
ReplyDeleteHope they´re faster than ours, Bill! Summer has returned - a nice evening to you!
ReplyDeleteHard at work!
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be well organised.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Sounds like a wise decision.
ReplyDeleteBuena decisión
ReplyDeleteI love to see other people working hard while I sit here and enjoy all your photographs!
ReplyDeleteGenial fotografía te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteCool street capture.
ReplyDeleteConstruction strategy remains the same across the world: one guy works, three stand around.
ReplyDeleteThe workers are looking good, talking seems to be the things at times, not always. Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteI hope it didn't inconvenience people too much, I drove through 3 lots of road works yesterday, time consuming.
ReplyDeleteObras em progresso! Um tema que resulta sempre bem, em fotografia!
ReplyDeleteAdorei ver! Um grande abraço!
