they're back

for another season!  We stopped on our way to the grocery store and chatted with the woman who lives in this house.  She mentioned that her mother planted these crocuses back in 1960.  What a wonderful gift that keeps on giving.

Can the crocuses live that long? They are my age!

  5. Spring is here right after the winter temperatures we had. In one week from winter to spring, can't believe it. From skating to cycling in the sun!

  8. That's so wonderful. Great they have lasted so long! WE have a rubarb plant that I wonder how hold it must be. We found it when we moved to a house when I was young, and when we left we transplanted it because my brother loved rubarb pie. However, some years it grows better than others.

  12. How pretty and hopeful. Ours are still under the snow, so no idea what's going on. But soon, perhaps?

  13. Spring has sprung!
It's nice to plant something like crocus's or a tree that may last longer than we will.

  26. So Great if the crocus plant could survive this long.
The plant still looks fresh and fertile.
Plants will protect humans if humans also take care of them
So that there is a natural balance.
    Have a nice week
    Regards
