  1. Bells call others, but themselves enter not into the Church. George Herbert

  2. Hello, I am from the Netherlands and came to your website via Tanza and I thought it was a nice church clock because it is older than the building I read in this article. https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/buildings-search/building/40813001/st-michaels-catholic-church-creeslough-creeslough-county-donegal Sometimes there is a story behind what people post and I always want to know because it interests me too. That's why I looked it up. Greetings, Tine

  3. I have only seen bells inside a church tower, usually called the bell tower in fact, never outside. Is it still rung to summon the faithful?

  5. You don't often see bells outdoors. How is this one operated? Electric it seems. The clapper is on the outside of the bell.

    God bless.

  6. Hello,

I love bells, especially the sounds they make. Take care, have a happy day!

  7. Exposed to wind and weather he still lets his voice be heard. Truly an invention linked to eternity.

  9. Very pretty, with minimalist lines as is the white building behind (I assume the church.)

  10. It is interesting that it is in its own structure rather than being on the church itself.

  12. Attractive. My Dad had a similar bell on the farm and they used it to call us when they couldn't tell where we were.

  13. The architecture looks like it could be Southwestern U.S. from a pueblo.

  16. Bill - I am curious about the white structure behind the bell ... A lovely rock structure and then white concrete ...

  17. I hope it's loud enough but it looks like it needs a longer string to pull it from.
