1 o'clock seems a bit early for afternoon tea to this Englishman. But I just clicked on the link and I see they have the same tea-pot and milk jug that my mother used to have, so I'd gladly take tea there.
Oh I would soooo love that my friend Bill! I love tea and cakes so much! But I suddenly remembered my 10 euro budget per meal when I was backpacking around EU so that's beyond my budget I guess HAHAHAHA Sending warm hugs from the Philippines my friend!
Bring it on! Especially if it is a cream tea with scones .... (and especially if it is “covid-safe”... we haven’t been to a restaurant in so long, I probably wouldn’t know how to behave any more.)
Hola Bill!! Me encanta el te por la tarde; pero tambien tomo mate con biscochos!! Llamaria para pedir el te pero no creo que llegue caliente a mi casa 😁😁😁😁. Besos Bill
The Irish flag is on top, the one on the right is the EU and the other is US. I imagine they are there because of the relationship with the US and being a member of the EU.
So for an extra 5 pound you can have bubbly - wonder what their afternoon tea consists of - be interesting to know.

ReplyDeleteSorry! I don't like tea! LOL
ReplyDeleteI am never quite sure what is included with afternoon tea. The term seems to be used interchangeably as tea and scones, or the main meal of the day.
ReplyDeleteThat looks inviting to have a tea at the waterfront...
ReplyDeleteThey had that at a nearby castle, but it wasnt for me. Ugly sign here, but people will se it so it probably works.
ReplyDeleteI’d give it a try.
ReplyDeleteWhat A Windy Day There Mr Bill
ReplyDeleteCheers
I wish I could travel there.

ReplyDeleteHi Bill, sounds good that tea.
ReplyDelete...isn't that a bit expensive? Thanks Bill for joining the party, take care.
ReplyDeleteAfternoon tea, yes, let's go! I hope they have lots of fancy sandwiches and little cakes. But 20 euros seems quite expensive.
ReplyDeleteVery inviting! I’m looking forward to the days when restaurants will be allowed to open again.
ReplyDeleteI bet thats a nice tea. I can't wait until I can do things like that again.

ReplyDeleteNever considered bubbly as appropriate with tea. That would be a good way to miss much of the afternoon and early evening.
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting sign! LOL about bubbly with tea! Diana
ReplyDeleteNice sign
ReplyDeleteYou have to work for that ☕
ReplyDeleteNice photo Bill.
Afternoon tea and bubbly! Interesting!
ReplyDeleteIs that 20 Euros to sit on a grass bank? Or is it in a hotel somewhere?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I'd go for some of that.
ReplyDeleteI would love to stop in for afternoon tea.
ReplyDeleteI'm up for it! ;-)

The flags steal the show, can you explain? (Why they are there in the way they are there)

DeleteThat sounds rather nice Tom 😉
ReplyDeleteI don't think of tea as including a bottle of bubbly, but why not?
