construction

the old roof was taken off about two weeks ago and now they are starting to build a new one.  Tons of work on the building, it will take a very long time.  It was raining and windy for those workers all day yesterday.
The Christmas lights were installed around town the other night.

  1. Work yourself warm, oh, what a job - and Christmas lights already?! Aw, well, why not, anything that brightens up this grey, right!

  4. I am sure hey are used to working in all kinds of weather. They don't have to like it, but it's nothing they haven't dealt with before.

  5. Not the best time of year to renovate a roof. Here they have been replacing the roofing on a small neighborhood since August, but due to land rains it is still not finished.

  6. Es muy sacrificado el trabajo de constructor, tiene que estar expuestos a las inclemencias del clima. Y me parece muy temprano para las luces navideñas, quizas le da a la ciudad una mirada mas alegre.
    Un beso enorme Bill.

  10. Glad to see two positive things happening...workers being employed, and a building being restored! Oh and the third possibility, a celebration of the season with the Christmas lights.

  17. I wouldn't want to work outside. Too much heat and humidity, rain, wind, snow, cold, and bugs/spiders etc. out there.

  26. Got to have a good roof over the house/hotel or whatever, keeps the rain out - and poor men having to work in all kind of weather.
The light will look good when turned on in the dusk and dark..
    Take care.
