We have a bloodmobile that visits our resort in Florida a couple of times during the season. Now that they have changed the regulations and there is no upper age limit for donations.
Seeing a blood donation site always makes me sad - ever since I lived in the UK, I have not been allowed to donate blood in the US for fear that my blood might be contaminated with mad cow's disease!
great
ReplyDeleteI was also a donor

In the days when I gave blood regularly they called me. My husband would answer and tell me "The vampires are calling."
