donating

blood is important.  Last Thursday the blood mobile was in town.  I hope they were successful.

  14. I have given blood more than 75 times, got the certificate to prove it, but sadly some current medication won't let me give any more.

  16. We have a bloodmobile that visits our resort in Florida a couple of times during the season. Now that they have changed the regulations and there is no upper age limit for donations.

  24. Seeing a blood donation site always makes me sad - ever since I lived in the UK, I have not been allowed to donate blood in the US for fear that my blood might be contaminated with mad cow's disease!
