Lough Foyle, Moville co. Donegal
Looks like it could use some repairs.

Oh, this has amost gone!
And the walls were made for eternity.
Looks like the owner needs to clean up a little.
Wonderful. Part of history. Look at the wonderful stonework. If only those walls could talk ... God bless.
...Bill, it looks like a barn!
How beautiful! It truly touches my heartstrings!
So charming. Would love to know the story behind that.
The stone work must have been very well done. Vegetation looks like it might win the war and the building will disappear into the underbrush.
Old Fine Hand work
Wonder how old it is?
That is an old one. When the wood finally goes away, those stones will still be there.
It looks like it's been there a very long time.
The stone walls will outlast that roof and probably the next roof too.
Oh my goodness. What a sweet little stone building. Old garage?MB
I love stone buildings. It's a shame this one is in disrepair.
I find it fascinating to see old structures like that.
Nature is the original recycler.
It certainly is crumbling down, but made me wonder how many years had passed until it got to this state.
Derelict old buildings always interest me and if I saw this one (especially because of the stonework) I’d take a million pictures ....of course I always wish I knew the story of what happened to let them get to that state.
Living in the jungle!
Truly, this could be just down the road from my farm. A lovely old building.
Aren't these also called "famine houses"? Either they were abandoned by death or by those who had to immigrate during the famine years.
There are some famine houses around but this stone structure is in the back of someone's property. Probably used as a storage area at one time.
Oh no, this photogenic old building looks like it's in trouble Bill ✨
This house needs a new roof... :-)
Wonderful stone, a lovely old building. All the best Jan
