Nice image of the Grey Heron waiting patiently for the next fish to come within reach. As for the gulls they are a little too distant to identify although the ones on the rock appear to be Common (Mew) Gulls.
Hello Bill, pretty shots of the birds. I always enjoy the seaside images, so peaceful. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Thanks also for the comment on my post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
Hello Bill. I started to say good morning, but suspect it is evening there. Nice shots of the birds. I'm a huge fan of herons, so must pick it as my favorite. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
I like the birds, although the seagulls sure can make quite the racket. They have no fear at the lake where I live and will come right up to you. I guess too many people have been feeding them.
Fraaie serie Bill, het rotsblok in zee met de meeuwen vind ik erg mooi.

ReplyDeleteIn the top photo the stones on the beach seem to duplicate the color of the bird. The birds on the bottom snapshot have a classic pose!

That first shot is a definite winner. Frame it and hang it! The light is perfect!

ReplyDeletePlenty of bird life in your area!
ReplyDeleteI usually get a peaceful but slightly lonely feeling at the beach. The second pic captured that perfectly for me. Beautiful Bill.

Love the heron and the rocks with the gulls, Bill!
ReplyDeleteHerons are interesting critters.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what bird it is in your first photo. It looks bigger than a heron, or am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteCool captures!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen a heron like that before. Nice!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!
ReplyDeleteNice bird watching serie 😊

ReplyDeleteLovely pictures Bill, the last one is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Not too different from the cranes and egrets we see in Costa Rica. Perhaps a bit less comfortable.
