Lough Foyle, Moville co. Donegal
They've probably gone to look for somewhere with a roof.
Always a derelict building around for them to live in
Still a kind of building fence around so perhaps repair is at hand. Otherwise this now birds house is doomed to disappear.
It is a kind of a ruin, can imagine birds love to hang out there.

Such a magnificent picture. Hope you have a lovely day.
If those walls could talk!
...they knew that you were coming!
Such ruined cottages were the places we'd hang out as youngsters too! Love your photo!
Oh, poor abandoned house !
They must have seen you coming with your camera.
Fair weather friends don't hang around if the environment displeases them.
So much atmosphere in your pic, Bill! I hope someone restores that place!
They were probably watching you from somewhere.. ;)
Was it a house? I like seeing abandoned buildings, and imagining them when they were new. They are sad but beautiful.
Looks like they've found themselves a nice little spot here Bill.
I assume the fence is to keep trespassers of the walking kind out, and the lawyers happy.
Do you know what that building use to be?
Unfortunately, it has been like that since I came across it. It looks like it could have been a storage place or a very small house for one person.
Looks like some lovely, rural decay.
A beautiful photograph though the birds are out for the day!
I like the subtle textures. At first look, they create some figure - ground confusion, which can be a good thing.
It's a nice shot, with or without birds. This old building has certainly seen better days.
They will probably come back soon 😊 nice pic 😊
Hi Bill! What a great looking "bird house." I imagine that old building has seen quite a bit in it's time. Do you have any idea how old it is?
