this is one of my pet peeves, people parking too close.

 there is even enough  space to park your tractor on main street.

pay and display parking in Donegal Town.  Not all towns have these type of rules only the bigger towns do.

if  you don't have a ticket displayed in your car window, you'll be fined.  Fines run from €40-€80

I watched the car on the left back in to this parking spot and then his car tapped the other one.  I waited to see what he was going to do and he just got out of his car walked away.  The guy watching from across the street just shook his head. 

double parking

is an issue on Saturday nights and Sundays when people attend St. Pius X church services.  It's causing traffic problems and the town isn't happy.  The county council is looking for a solution and one solution is to create a parking area close by.  Around fifty cars double parked during Mass, making it difficult for passing two-way traffic.
