ATM
removing an ATM machine from a bank building that closed its doors.
É realmente admirável verificar como esse trabalhador é capaz de fazer esse trabalho sózinho. Dias amenos e felizes... Um abraço ☘️🌼 ~~~ https://reinodascorujinhas.blogspot.com/
It's truly admirable to see how this worker is able to do this job all by himself. Mild and happy days... A hug. ☘️🌼 ~~~ https://reinodascorujinhas.blogspot.com/
Fun to consider what seems a stable resource of cash can just be picked up and moved away. We’ve heard of crooks putting fake fronts on ATM machines - somehow either getting your cash or your card/bank info…but seldom do any take the whole machine!
I use a large bank here in the US. They closed all of their locations on the coast along with the ATMs. If I want to actually go to the bank I have to drive 100 miles to the nearest one. I refuse to do banking on the phone. So I said that to say, sorry the bank closed.
Probably something that will happen more frequently.

I have never seen that, I assume all the cash was removed first.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
Lots of cash went through that machine!

It's sad to have a bank close. Local banks play an important role in the community, but such is the increasingly unstable world of finance.
ReplyDeleteMany banks are now closed for good...
ReplyDeleteA sign of the times, good street photo.
ReplyDeleteIt's a somewhat annoying situation if there's no other place nearby to withdraw money. Many banks have been closing here too.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that the bank closed.
ReplyDeleteI remember a story told to me by someone who had an ATM stolen at their workplace.

ReplyDeleteHope they remembered to empty it out, Bill. LOL!
ReplyDeleteEven banks are affected in this economy.
ReplyDeleteHe makes it look easy but it must be really heavy, Bill.
ReplyDeleteSo the bank closed it's doors.... very inconvenient for the people in the neighbourhood. How far would they have to go to do their banking?
ReplyDeleteThere's a mobile bank that comes to town once a week. Closest bank is about and hour drive to the next town.
DeleteAtrophy is inevitable.
ReplyDeleteBoa noite Bill. Aqui no Brasil, não temos esse tipo de caixa eletrônico, só nos shoppings ou supermercados.
ReplyDeleteThose things are so heavy.
