There is a sign similar to the first one at a place we like to eat. Also those portal fees can be close to an extra 4 bucks in some cases when people pay with card for their overdues at our library. 😉☀️❤️ That second one is such a fun one!
Wow, the littlest among us gets the biggest sign! A friend seldom has cash, and I always do...so I've had to bail her out a few times when places don't even take plastic!
Bill, you found some great signs. Yes, local merchants prefer cash so they don't have to pay the credit card processing fees. The billboard made me laugh. Thanks for that.
We're seeing many more places in town add a surcharge if you use Visa. (Or a discount if you don't.) I just wish they'd build it into pricing and be consistent.
That second one is too funny. Cash is better in most stores around here too because if you use your card there's a .50 to $1.00 charge extra just for using a card. In some stores the card charge can be $2.00 extra.
Fewer people are using cash these days.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
The dog sign seems like a solicitor's ads
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteNice plates, the one with the dog is really cute.
Greetings from Patricia.
Cada vez hay más persona que tiene como animal de compañía un perro, aunque yo no he tenido nunca un perro.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
I love the dog 🐕 ❤️
ReplyDeleteNice signs indeed Bill. That first one is hilarious these days.
ReplyDeleteCute doggie sign. Take care, have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI rarely carry cash any more, unless I am buying directly from local farmers.

ReplyDeleteImportant message about cash but such a cute one from the Pawfirm.
ReplyDeleteBoth Of These Signs Are Right In My Wheelhouse There Mr Bill
ReplyDeleteWay Cool ,
Cheers
I love that second one.
ReplyDeleteLaw firm of Bacon, Treat and GoodBoy -- Love it!

ReplyDeleteGreat signs both. Yes, cash is king!
ReplyDeleteThese are both good in their own way, Bill. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHere they expect you to buy a breadroll for €0,42 via credit card.
ReplyDeleteOh, is There also a Pizza-firm by NOT-ALONE?
That cash sign is unusual in this day and age. Everyone takes cards these days.
ReplyDeleteThe last sign is eye catching but it doesn't make sense.
ReplyDeleteThat billboard is one of the funniest, most creative ones I've ever seen. Great photos, Bill!
ReplyDeleteLove both of the signs, Bill!
ReplyDeleteGood signs. Some people leave their dogs home alone for too long!
ReplyDeleteI remember studying marketing in the 90s and my lecturer said "Cash Is King" wonder if he would still say that all these years later? Probably haha!
I've been in places where they won't even take cash!!!

ReplyDeleteSome consumers seem unaware that cash is so much better for supporting businesses.
ReplyDelete...amen, cash is king!
ReplyDeleteTwo excellent signs ... thanks Bill.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Spot on for the first sign!!
ReplyDeletePeople here still prefer to pay in cash...
ReplyDeleteGood signs. The first one sends a good message, as does the dog one.
ReplyDeleteVery important signs.
