bakery for sale
the owner had put the bakery up for sale due to personal family issues. She had been in business at this location for 13 years and the community was very sad that she closed. Hopefully someone will step forward and buy it.
Same with too many here. The Braunschweig ring I got. Goldsmith closed. No one capable of stepping in. My Brother is a Goldsmith but lives too far away... Our Butcher, gone... So many places closed down.
Our favorite bakery closed here, too. It seems it was getting expensive with certain supplies. Sometimes, we can only do so much. I love the signage on the building.
Family owned businesses do sometimes have family problems which intrude on the business continuing. I hope that she can resolve whatever is going on with her family...as well as that someone reopens the bakery for those who loved it.
How sad to lose a bakery. It takes special dedication to run a bakery. I hope someone buys the business and re-opens it, but it may not happen. Our last family owned bakery closed more than twenty years ago, and I still miss it.
It's always sad to see a good institution close like this. I hope it does get sold. However, it may no longer be a bakery? Nice photo, Bill!
ReplyDeleteIt’s always sad to see a beloved local bakery close, but I hope the right buyer comes along to keep its warm tradition alive
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity the business is closing down.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
A good bakery is a loss indeed.

...this is a hard business with many early morning hours!
ReplyDeleteI do hope someone will buy this quaint place, too, Bill. So sad when a beloved business has to close in a community.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone steps forward and purchases it soon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice building, sorry to lose a bakery.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday! Take care, have a wonderful week!
These family-run businesses, rooted in the area, endear themselves to neighbors and customers.
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Too bad! Let's hope someone continues the activity.

ReplyDeleteEvery community needs a good bakery!
ReplyDeleteA good bakery is absolutely necessary.
ReplyDeleteLa clientela que acudía a ella, seguiría con los nuevos dueños.
ReplyDeleteFeliz semana.
Small businesses have a tough time . they usually don't have any back up.
ReplyDeleteI hope that it will soon be open again, Bill.
ReplyDeleteShame hope someone will buy and keep it going :-D
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone will be the bakery soon.
ReplyDeleteHope it finds a good owner...
ReplyDeleteIt’s quite sad when a store such as that, a part of the neighbourhood, closes. Might be a weight loss programme for some, though!
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone will step forward and buy it.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It’s heartbreaking to see a beloved local spot close—especially one with so much history. Fingers crossed a new owner keeps the spirit alive! 🥖💛
ReplyDeleteThat is a fair time to own a bakery and be successful. I hope a new owner can be found as it looks good on the outside and probably equally inside.
ReplyDeleteI do hope someone will buy it.
ReplyDeleteA good bakery is much needed.
