sweeney's hotel

renovation is now completed, it took a very long time with the pandemic pauses and the construction workers who left and had to be replaced.  Not only the outside was transformed by the inside had to be gutted.  I think they did a wonderful job and I imagine it was very spendy.  I finally got to see the finished hotel a few months back.  We were living across the street from it when it first began.

photo taken back in Oct 2020 and had to pause for covid

photo taken 1 week after the previous one.

  4. I feel that the entrance how nice it may be not fit with the rest of the building. But hee just my idea.

  20. Such a grand place, Bill. I'm so glad they decided to restore it instead of tearing it down as is the fate of too many buildings here in the States.
