derelict house
added painted flowers to the windows and to the building to help take some of the rough edges away. It was a big eyesore. Hopefully someone will want to buy and fix it up.
I had a chuckle at the painted windows - that only one put the curtains behind the mullions. But it shows some effort was made by someone to present a facade of hope.
Interesting colours and facade.
ReplyDeleteThe difference color can make!
ReplyDeleteThey had better fix it up soon! I would imagine that water is getting in through the roof.
ReplyDeleteIt looks good and solid.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
There is indeed some work to do.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea, it looks okay. But the roof needs attention! I hope someone will buy it and do it up :-D
ReplyDeleteThe house needs some TLC....
ReplyDelete...it needs a roof SOON!
ReplyDeleteThe roof does need repair, are the windows painted with murals?
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day!
It would make a lovely home for someone!
ReplyDeleteHope someone sees the potential and gives it new life.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, Bill!
Sage is trending. Oh, it takes a lot to pamper an old house..and its more expensive that ever these days, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully painted windows
ReplyDeleteMuch better than just boarded-up windows, yes.
ReplyDeleteI had a chuckle at the painted windows - that only one put the curtains behind the mullions. But it shows some effort was made by someone to present a facade of hope.
ReplyDeleteTime will tell.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what it's like inside. Probably a damp mess due to the holes in the roof.
ReplyDeleteThe roof of this building needs repair, so the interior might be really bad. The painted windows help if one does not look too closely.
ReplyDeleteThe paint job must be hiding a lot, Bill.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that there is an abandoned house in your town. We have many abandoned houses as the population has declined about 75%
ReplyDelete75%?! How cometh, Red? Are you living in a rural area with few job opportunities?
DeleteThat's a good way to dress it up a bit.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo. I would like to venture inside. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteA new roof wouldn't be bad, for a beginning.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad when people allow properties to come to such conditions.
ReplyDeleteLe has añadido atractivo. El que la compre será para derribarla y construir una casa nueva.
ReplyDeleteI do hope someone will come along who loves it enough to fix it up, Bill. It's in a sad state of disrepair.
ReplyDeleteThanks to a derelict motel in my community used as a tax shelter, I'd say this is pretty cute.
