I did that when we were first married...the blue jeans were especially hard to iron but I did it...lolol... Thank goodness for electric dryers! hugs Donna
I found the palm tree very interesting. Yes, more are doing it here too. Saw some tee-shirts hanging on the chain length fence as I was passing by. I thought it might be a garage sale, but it wasn't.
What a lovely scene. The house is situated in a wonderful place with a gorgeous view. It must be a pleasure to hang the clothes out to dry in such a location.
This photographs of the Green Ireland is so nice, and your home is really near the coast. I think the temperatures is so low than in Mallorca now. We are around 32 degrees centigrades. So hard. I prefer 26 degrees, that is enough and better for to go to the beach. A lot of people from Ireland visit us now in summer.
I don’t understand if you have the space, why you wouldn’t want to hang clothes outside, especially in the summer. If I’m correct some places in America don’t allow them, I have a cousin in the US and believe that is how it is. I’m in Australia and the majority of homes have a clothesline. So much better for the clothes.
Take advantage of good weather.
ReplyDelete...I hope that it was a drying day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a view, who would notice the laundry!

It isn't often we get a washing out on the line over here! To be celebrated! :-D
ReplyDeleteAlso interesting those palm tree's in the garden.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have noticed the laundry if you didn't say it...
ReplyDeleteThe view is beautiful! Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteFresh air is great.

ReplyDeleteThe clothes will smell so fresh, Bill.
ReplyDeleteLove the header. It is so good to be able to put the clothes on the line.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful view of the sea. That plant looks tropical, so this must be a warm, pleasant place to live, perfect for hanging out laundry.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenic photo!

ReplyDeleteThey had better keep their eyes on those clothes. It looks like it could rain.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Bill! I sure miss my clothesline.
ReplyDeleteSunlight is a disinfectant. : )
ReplyDeleteI always smile when I see clothes hanging on the line. Nice to see others still do that too. Sunny days are my laundry days. :)
ReplyDeleteNo much smells better than wind/sun dried textiles.
ReplyDeleteAl aire libre se seca muy bien la ropa. Precioso paisaje.
ReplyDeleteFeliz fin de semana.
The picture in the header is beautiful, Bill. What gorgeous scenery to wake up to. And the laundry day picture in today's post is beautiful as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background. I haven't seen a clothesline in years.
ReplyDeleteThe average kiwi house has a closeline too, using the dryer gets too expensive.
ReplyDeleteLove it.

Siempre es bueno colgar ropa. te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteHanging clothes on a line is excellent for clothes. We don't do it because it's too much work. Good that you dry things out doors.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is good for hanging clothes.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Looks like rain will soak these clothes soon
ReplyDeleteI remember hanging clothes and they smelled so good. Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteI have been doing that this summer to. The clothes smell so good, although the towels are a little rough.
