derelict house
added painted flowers to the windows and to the building to help take some of the rough edges away. It was a big eyesore. Hopefully someone will want to buy and fix it up.

sweeney's hotel
renovation is now completed, it took a very long time with the pandemic pauses and the construction workers who left and had to be replaced. Not only the outside was transformed by the inside had to be gutted. I think they did a wonderful job and I imagine it was very spendy. I finally got to see the finished hotel a few months back. We were living across the street from it when it first began.

super charge
the town replaced the old slow charge with the new faster one.
According to the ESB website: If you're driving an EV with a battery size of 60 kWh, this means you'll pay around €33 for a standard charge at a public electric car charge point. Use a fast charger, and you can expect to pay around €39.

monday murals
It's been a month since I last posted. Very thankful the move is completed and no one was injured but definitely tired. We finished everything on the 30th and were very glad to give the keys back.
I saw this mural in Dungloe's car park. The words on the mural spell the Irish name for Dungloe. The troll's name is Stor and you can read about him here.
