And yet so dry here...while Europe seems to be afloat. And poor North Carolina. Such devastation! Water can have such power! I hope the Moy goes no higher, Bill!
We had a mild, bright day, with the sky covered in balls of beautiful white clouds... The water doesn't fall and we are drying up... Our dam continues to have worrying levels, all the water seems to be falling over Irland!... A hug, Bill 🍂🌈
Querido Bill, una foto preocupante, en mi país hay inundaciones que se llevan todo, debe ser el cambio climático que pinta muy feo para el mundo entero. Abrazos y te dejo un besito, que tengas un feliz dia
When the last hurricane ( Milton) went through Florida a few weeks ago our town flooded except for the roads that are higher. Thankfully I live on one that is higher so we had no water damage. So many houses and businesses were in high water. It was the worst hurricane I've seen in Florida and I've been here since the early 80's.
How high did it get?
ReplyDeleteI only saw it when I took the photo but I don' think it went much higher.
DeleteNot good to see high water this early in the winter. We could all do with a few dry months.
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteThat's already very high.
Greetings from Patricia.
Not good.
ReplyDeleteBut, 2007, Ingo: "If the water comes into the apartment ONCE more, I move to you in Braunschweig and find a new job."
Water came in.
If it doesn't go much further Bill.
ReplyDeleteThe river is looking high! We are having drought conditions here.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and have a great week ahead.
Scary times! Not what I want for Halloween week.
ReplyDeleteOh hoh!
ReplyDeleteSame here ... more rain forecast.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
...I guess so!
ReplyDeleteI hope it doesn’t overflow!
ReplyDeleteTime to move higher, Bill.
ReplyDeleteThe Rhine here seems back to normal...
ReplyDeleteOh my Word! Lots of rain there!
ReplyDeletehugs
Donna
By the wall and steps it looks like they're ready for rising water.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be a sure sign that you've had lots of rain there.
ReplyDeleteIt rained a lot there ☂️I hope there was no damage.
ReplyDeleteSorry to see any river going over its banks...but the climate change guys say this will keep happening more.
ReplyDeleteThe river may be rising, but it looks like the town in safe from flooding. Hope there was no flooding along the river.
ReplyDeleteI hope there is no flooding. These weather events are getting scary.
ReplyDeleteFlooding in some of our States after the recent hurricanes sure took its toll on lives and property. Stay safe, Bill!

ReplyDeleteThat's a nice high wall to keep the rising water out of the town.
ReplyDeleteSt Muredach help. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHa crecido bastante. Ese muro tan alto es una buena protección, para que no se salga el agua de su cauce.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
Oh so loud with water
ReplyDeleteThat is a riverine flood

ReplyDeleteUy como ha crecido el rio . Te mando un beso.

Water getting pretty high. We could use a little rain here and that doesn't happen very often!
ReplyDeleteYikes.
ReplyDeleteHope it doesn't rise to dangerous levels!
ReplyDeleteThat looks neat. Guess it comes up like that often.
ReplyDeleteA striking photograph with the marooned stairs. Thank you, bill
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of water.
ReplyDeleteYikes you must have had bad rains like we did!
ReplyDeleteI do love this photo though, stairs look like they are randomly in the river.
