  2. Not good to see high water this early in the winter. We could all do with a few dry months.

  4. Not good.
But, 2007, Ingo: "If the water comes into the apartment ONCE more, I move to you in Braunschweig and find a new job."
    Water came in.

  11. By the wall and steps it looks like they're ready for rising water.

  12. It seems to be a sure sign that you've had lots of rain there.

  15. The river may be rising, but it looks like the town in safe from flooding. Hope there was no flooding along the river.

  16. I hope there is no flooding. These weather events are getting scary.

  17. Flooding in some of our States after the recent hurricanes sure took its toll on lives and property. Stay safe, Bill!

  18. And yet so dry here...while Europe seems to be afloat. And poor North Carolina. Such devastation! Water can have such power! I hope the Moy goes no higher, Bill!

  19. That's a nice high wall to keep the rising water out of the town.

  20. Ha crecido bastante. Ese muro tan alto es una buena protección, para que no se salga el agua de su cauce.
    Un abrazo.

  21. We had a mild, bright day, with the sky covered in balls of beautiful white clouds... The water doesn't fall and we are drying up... Our dam continues to have worrying levels, all the water seems to be falling over Irland!... A hug, Bill 🍂🌈

  23. Querido Bill, una foto preocupante, en mi país hay inundaciones que se llevan todo, debe ser el cambio climático que pinta muy feo para el mundo entero.
Abrazos y te dejo un besito, que tengas un feliz dia

  24. Water getting pretty high. We could use a little rain here and that doesn't happen very often!

  25. Hope it doesn't rise to dangerous levels!

  26. That looks neat. Guess it comes up like that often.

  27. A striking photograph with the marooned stairs. Thank you, bill

  28. Yikes you must have had bad rains like we did!

I do love this photo though, stairs look like they are randomly in the river.

  29. When the last hurricane ( Milton) went through Florida a few weeks ago our town flooded except for the roads that are higher. Thankfully I live on one that is higher so we had no water damage. So many houses and businesses were in high water. It was the worst hurricane I've seen in Florida and I've been here since the early 80's.
