Lough Foyle, Moville co. Donegal
A long time ago Bill but its still standing. Nice.
Is it functional or simply a display of wealth?
You can go inside but that day it was closed to the public.
It looks suitably mysterious.
Very mysterious. Weird thing to build.
A place that I would like to visit
In the middle of the woods, a singular place.
Nice photos, those trees with moss on their trunks, that beautiful soil really a place without a doubt to visit.Best regards
Hello,It looks like it is being taken over by the forest! Take care, have a great day and week ahead!
need good maintenance...great shot
A very mystical looking place!
...does it have beer taps?
Big building.God bless.
That is a great shot, Bill!
Lovely to find in the middle of the forest! Awesome photo!
A place to be on one's own?
This tower must have been built as a "folly" as it could not have had any purpose for defense at this late date.
I researched and enjoyed getting to know the great and ancient Ashford Castle. This tower is well camouflaged... Lots of history involved! I enjoyed getting to know Ireland better. Good week, Bill. 🌟
I love those mossy trees framing the tower.
Very cool photo. Have been to Cong and loved it, but didn't see the Tower.
What was that tower for?
The view it offered.
Great shot! I never knew about its existence!
This looks like an jnterezting place to visit. We were in Cong but missed this. Have a good week, Bill.
Ah, I read the name and was already on my way to the cellar. Sláinte, Bill. ;-) A fine photo, by the way.
Looks like am enchanted forest. :)
Es muy bella , se siente como un cuento de hadas. Te mando un beso.
Great place for an overview!
It stands marvelous!
Que lugar incrível!!! Grande partilha, Bill! Fez-me lembrar a Torre de Glastonbury!Um grande abraço! Continuação de Boas Festas e um Feliz 2023!Ana
I would think the view from the top of the tower is excellent.Nice photograph. All the best Jan
The tower looks a bit mysterious, a lone tower built for seeing the vistas.
Oh, I should love to discover this in person!
