ReplyDeleteHard to believe, but people are slobs. Community groups pick up litter here also. The state of Iowa passed a return deposit on all cans and bottles and litter on the landscape almost disappeared.

People can be so inconsiderate and toss trash both outdoors and even in stores. I too have seen examples of soft drinks, coffee cups and water bottles left on store shelves by people too lazy to find a trash receptacle. Thanks to those volunteers for what they do in cleaning up after others.
ReplyDeleteI have never understood littering. Do they expect their mother to clean up after them? And that banana, no words. But those volunteers made me smile.
