  1. Crowd control doesn't seem to be a problem; I hope they get a bit more business later in the day.

  2. They must have been trained to guard the merchandise...
Have a nice and happy day.

  10. Hello,
The dogs are great security guards. The farmers markets are great for buying the fresh veggies. Take care, enjoy your day!

  11. Oh, we have a dog at every turn at ours. I love to see so much veg in this photo! Lots of vendors at ours that have nothing to do with farming.

  14. Both dogs are taking their assignment very seriously. .. as they should.
I went to the farmers' market last Saturday. First time this year. Their prices increased tremendously. Last year a head of lettuce would cost me $3.50. This year, $5.00. Four large beefsteak tomatoes, $5.00. Four small pretzels, $10.00. No more pretzels from the market. :))

  15. Correction: the tomatoes cost 6 bucks. Not 5. :)

  22. It is fun to go to farmer's markets although here there are a lot of people selling who aren't farmers. There was a big expose about it on TV last summer.
