spotted this slug on the river trail. There are always a few of them out and about on misty mornings. It took him a long time to get in a posing position.
Hello, Looks like a big slug. I have seen them on the side of our house. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy weekend! PS, thank you for the visit and comment.
neat photo! Did you know that the banana slug was once the mascot of the sports teams at University of California Santa Cruz? I'm not sure that's still the case.
I hope he/she was pleased with his/her portrait. I think I would have avoided her rather than asking her to pose for me. Something about things that slither along the ground...
Fact of life here too, tho I don’t see as many as we used to. Maybe because we aren’t here during the real rainy season. (That May change this coming year...Florida’s not looking likely at the moment.)
It looks a big one and somewhat different to ours.
ReplyDeleteIt's teeming with these slugs here. Must be the time of year.
ReplyDeleteLucky for you they move very slowly so you could make this excellent photo.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice photo!! You can always capture the moment Bill! Have a nice weekend!

ReplyDeleteDid you know a slug is a claustrophobic snail? He can't stay in his shell.
ReplyDeleteI saw a slug in the garden once. It was going so fast I had use a special speed and aperture in the camera - like photographing the Grand Prix races!
God bless.
We see them a lot after rainy weather.
