located in county Mayo, it is about 1 mile long and is popular with fishermen having an excellent run of spring salmon.

  13. It looks a bit wet and soggy to me. I hope the salmon run is good. A lot of the salmon is way down in Washington state these days.

  14. I wonder how freshly-caught salmon in a river like this would taste? I do like salmon properly prepared, but don't think I've ever had the privilege of eating one freshly-caught.
