front garden

Passed this house on the way to the beach and I loved the way these flowers add so much beauty to the front garden.  It was a dull overcast day but the flowers added some much needed colour.  I also like the tree.  It's a monkey puzzle tree which I never heard of  until I looked it up.

  2. The tree looks very similar to our pine trees - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Araucaria_angustifolia - but then I learned its origin is from our neighbors: Chile and Argentine

  6. Looks like these people REALLY have a green thumb. . . truly a beautiful sight. WW would be in puppy heaven if she saw these on our morning walks! We have one of those trees in our neighbourhood, and now I know what kind it is.

  10. How nice to have those wonderful and colorful little gardens in front of the houses. The monkey tree is a new one on me. But I intend to check it out as soon as I can find a monkey! :) Four suitcases? Four suitcases? That wouldn't even hold the junk on my desk! Egads! :)

  12. Jardim, árvore e flores adoráveis. Incluindo as casas, que devem compor uma agradável vila. Suas fotos são sempre belas, eu gosto de admirar, Bill!
